ABOUT ME
Hi I’m Ella,
I am a Personal Stylist based in Cornwall.
I have always been told I have ‘an eye for style’ and the magical ability, to read what someone wants, but can’t quite articulate. My extensive experience in hair and beauty, alongside a passion for people, design and fashion, lead me to study as an Image Consultant.
As a Stylist my role is to asses an individual’s unique characteristics and create a strategy, to refine their style. My reports advise on how to streamline and optimise your wardrobe and cosmetics, offer inspiration for evolving your hair and provide you with a personalised, digital colour palette, for total confidence moving forward.
WHAT DO I OFFER?
I currently offer Hairstyling and colour analysis in Bristol and Cornwall. I’ll be launching a full ‘transformation’ package later this year.

I’m a fearless Stylist with 26 years experience. I’m passionate about empowering confidence in my clients and evolving their style. I love every aspect of my craft, from razored bixie cuts to executing a perfect balayage and have built a loyal clientele in Bristol over the last 17 years.

How can someone be so talented that they can maintain an entertaining and intelligent chat with you, but at the same time work such wonders on your hair? Amazing! It's no wonder, that over the many years, regardless of what country we were living in, we have always returned to Ella to have our hair cut.

The Buttercream trend is making tracks and I for one am IN. But is this mellow yellow for everyone? The truth is shades of yellow are tricky, suitability coming down to skin undertone. If you have discovered your colour season, you’ll know whether you are warm, cool or neutral.
So not in the metaphorical sense, right? Many would attest to my significant cojones- No, I refer to the balls of shed hair I have been collecting for the last year or so.
I am 42 and have reached a milestone 25 years, in my chosen career path as a Hairstylist. In 1999 I qualified with the Internationally renowned, Toni & Guy Artistic team in London.
When reviewing someone’s wardrobe I love to see the ‘impulse’ purchases! Spontaneous ‘just because’ items. They caught your eye, looked great in a magazine, served a purpose under time pressure?! Could have been down to a pushy shop assistant, peer pressure, loose morals after a drink!? It’s like going food shopping hungry. You make terrible choices, based on how you feel in the moment.
